Privacy statement and other legal statements

For members living in European Union countries, we use the details of your name, postal and email addresses to manage your membership of the Society, to provide members with benefits such as the Society Journal and to provide information on Society activities. The membership and address database for both British and overseas members is maintained in the United Kingdom. The personal details of EU members will only be transferred outside the EU if we have your written consent. We will keep your details for up to five years after your first contact or the expiry of your membership, whichever is the later. We will not pass your details on to third parties or other organizations without your consent except in the highly unlikely event of being required to do so by the legal authorities.
